As disciples of Jesus Christ we are first of all called to worship Him. This is our main purpose. Because we follow Jesus we start to copy Him and desire to do the same thing he did. We don’t have to do good works to get to heaven, but it is out of our deep heart felt relationship with Jesus that we want to do things.

Before Jesus saved us we served sin and all that goes with it. Who do you want to serve?

Matthew 6: 24 "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.(NIV)

He was not far from the house when the centurion sent friends to say to him: "Lord, don't trouble yourself, for I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. 7 That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. 8 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, `Go,' and he goes; and that one,`Come,' and he comes. I say to my servant, `Do this,' and he does it." 9 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, "I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel." 10 Then the men who had been sent returned to the house and found the servant well. Faithful Servant

Matthew 25: 21"His master replied, `Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.
