Take time to tell God how much you appreciate and love Him. The act of thanksgiving and praise is one of the forms of worship to God and should not be forgotten. We have received so much from God and we should be grateful and return to Him every day to thank Him. Luke 1: 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance 13 and called out in a loud voice, "Jesus, Master, have pity on us!" 14 When he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed. 15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him--and he was a Samaritan.17 Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" 19 Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well." Praise is an act of faith, because we thank God for what He has done, and what He is doing, and then what He is going to do for us in the future. It is this positive confession of faith in God and His promises that will move the hand of God in our lives. In our prayer life we should adopted a positive confession, That is to say we should start with as many “thank you” to God for what he has done, what is doing, and what He will do in the future. Start to pray in this way and see the differences that will take place in you life, first of all your attitude will change and then secondly the circumstances around you will change. Just as in the previous lesson on Victory we still need to bring our mind into subjection to God’s word and His promises.
