We have studied the fall of man when sin entered the world, the power of the blood over sin and how it is our protection. The protection takes place after we have repented and asked Jesus into our hearts. We have also studied the assurance of Faith based on what Jesus has done plus nothing. We have studied how we are new creations in Christ Jesus and all sins have been washed away. We have looked at how we are legally seated with Christ in heavenly places.

These are foundational teachings and are necessary to all believers. We need this to have a good foundation to move forward. BUT even after all this teaching some believers are still walking in defeat with their heads hung low. They are under the circumstances and not on top. We are on top, which is our legal position in Christ Jesus if we are Christians.

All believers are subject to temptation, sickness and subject to worry, etcetera. That is not the place where Jesus wants us to be. Jesus wants us to walk tall and hold our heads high so that we can be a witness to the world.

Who would want to become a Christian if you are walking in defeat? The world is looking at you. You are the gospel of Jesus Christ to this dying world.

Victory can be yours if you use the resources available. The resource available is the Word of God.

We need to learn Key scriptures to have them in our memory and confess them as often as possible. Jesus said IT IS WRITTEN when tempted in the wilderness.

As we learn Scriptures and memorize them, they will move from the head to the heart and become a revelation. The Word will live when it gets to your heart and you will not be moved by what may take place around you.
