As disciples of Jesus, we are also called His witnesses because we have had a spiritual experience that can only be explained by saying "I know; I know He Lives because He lives in me". A person must have a personal encounter of his or her own with Jesus This can't be learnt; it needs to be experienced. To be born again is to enter into God by repentance, seeking Gods forgiveness, asking for His Holy Spirit to come into your hearts. Luke 23: 44 It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour, 45 for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. 46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last. 47 The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, "Surely this was a righteous man." 48 When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts and went away. 49 But all those who knew him, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things. (NIV) 1/ The centurion seeing said 2/ What are other words for witness and 3/ I know I know He lives because He
Jesus said, "You are the light of the world". Matthew5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. (NIV) Jesus said, "I am the light of the world" (Mt 5: 14); Now He is saying that all believers are the light of the world. Jesus was the witness to God on Earth; therefore we are now the witnesses of God on Earth. 4/ Jesus said I am the 5/ You are the light 6/ What shall we do with our light? 7/ Who will receive the praise for your good deeds?
Witness = Martyr One who bears witness of the truth, and suffers death in the cause of Christ (Acts 22:20; Rev. 2:13; 17:6). In this sense Stephen was the first martyr. The Greek word so rendered in all other cases is translated "witness." In a court of justice (Matt. 18:16; 26:65; Acts 6:13; 7:58; Heb. 10:28; 1 Tim. 5:19). (2.) As of one bearing testimony to the truth of what he has seen or known (Luke 24:48; Acts 1:8, 22; Rom. 1:9; 1 Thess. 2:5, 10; 1 John 1:2). Matthew 4: 18 As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 19 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." 20 At once they left their nets and followed him. (NIV) 8/ Simon and Andrew were 9/ Jesus said and I will make you of 10/ At once or immediately they left their boats and Jesus 11/ Why did they follow Jesus?

1 Peter 3: 15 But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. (NIV) 14/ Always be prepared to give an
2 Corinthians 5: 20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (NIV) 15/ Who are we? 16/ Who is God working through?
2 Corinthians 6: 1 As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. 2 For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. "I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation. (NIV) 17/ Gods grace is not in 18/ When is it Gods time of favor 19/ Today is the day of
Are all called? “Yes” if no one else will do the job. 1 Corinthians12:27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28 And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But eagerly desire the greater gifts. And now I will show you the most excellent way. (NIV) 1 Corinthians 13: 1If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.(NIV) Mark 16: 15 He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. (NIV) 20/ Who are the witnesses of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit?
It is every believer mandate to fill the calling of God in their environment, if there is no ascension gifting, does that mean we should do nothing? On the contrary we should rise up to fill the position even though we don't have that gifting. If there is no one to go into the entire world should we go? Someone has to go.
