The Sadducees, and disciples of Jesus Christ asked many questions about the resurrection. The disciples asked because of their hope, and the Sadducees to entrap Jesus. The word, "resurrection" means to be raised from the dead, for the great Day of Judgment. Although people who have been clinically dead have been raised to life again, this is not the resurrection we are presently discussing. We are looking at ETERNAL resurrection.

The doctrine of the resurrection is a fundamental tenet of the Christian faith. It makes Christianity distinctly different from other religions.

Revelation 20: 4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge.
