Creation was not meant to be in the state it is now, decay and ruin because of the disobediences of Adam and Eve. Now we see that all of creation is waiting for the son of God to arise so that all can be returned to the original creational state. Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creation was not willingly subjected to vanity, but because of Him who subjected it on hope 21 that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (MKJV) Even though this first disobediences of Adam and Eve was the first act of rebellion against Gods directives, God has put in place His redemptive plan and by us repenting which is a critical dynamic of salvation we can have full access to His promises and all creation is happy when we return to God. 2Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God by us. (MKJV) We see from these scriptures that we are required to be in HIM to receive the promises and that this is a clear action from us. The responsibility rests with us. We as individuals must take responsibility for our own rebellion in the form of sin and cleanse ourselves through the act of repentances accepting the redemptive work of Jesus Christ blood on the cross. 2 Corinthians 7:1 Then having these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilements of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (MKJV) Even though God has enacted salvation and it is free to all, we only need to look around and see that mankind is still in rebellion with God. 1Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. 24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice. (KJV) The rebellion here we Saul bitterness towards the directive of God and in his own opinion (Idolatry) he couldn’t see anything wrong with taking what God had told him not to. The natural logical of man when it is in opposition to God is not a problem until it has taken priority over God directives, then it has become idolatry. This again is similar to Adam and Eve. Idolatry leads to rebellion, rebellion to stubbornness and this is seen by God as, the sin of witchcraft. Witchcraft Witchcraft is man using another spiritual power forms to achieve the things that are done by God. It is a counterfeit but nevertheless it has some power and may give a glimpse of things to come. In the end it will lead to destruction. It is the absence of faith in the one and only God. Now we need to see what God has to say about witchcraft. Leviticus 20:26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. 27 A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them. (KJV) Deuteronomy 18:9 When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. 13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. 14 For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do. 15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; (KJV)

The fight has already been won at the cross when Jesus’ blood broke the curse, but some still feel some grip upon them. All we need to look at the scripture below and see what needs to be done. Deuteronomy 18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; (KJV) We need to listen to Jesus and keep our eyes on him, seeking God in all matter of life. Walk by faith waiting upon the Lord to meet all our needs. Walk in the Spirit Galatians 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Denounce any of your actions in any area of concern iii. Break the curse by confessing the power of Jesus’ blood iv. Then pray a new prayer of dedication and consecration to the Lord Jesus v. Don’t mix with those who practice witchcraft. And these are contrary to one another; lest whatever you may will, these things you do.
