But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Many of us start out on the journey of life with a dream, onwards upwards directly to the goal, not thinking of another course, but God with His infinite wisdom, knows the right direction in which we should go.

Q1/ When we put God first He will bless our life. (True or false)

Q2/ We know what’s good for us and we don’t need God. (True or false)

Many say, “When I get there and when I have that, I will be happy,” but sadly they find disappointment. They work from the top down, where the Bible is teaching us to start from the foundation and build up.

Q3/ When we have worked hard to get to the top it’s the time we will feel happy. (True or false)

Growing up has many difficulties and many questions such as:

Q4/ Is there more to life?   There has to be more to life. (True or false)

Q5/ Who am I?  I am more than a name or number! (True or false)

Q6/ If there is more how do I get it? (True or false)

Q7/ What are the things that you want in your life? (True or false)

Q8/ Do other people want the same things you want? (True or false)

We all want such things as:

Education,……………………Home,………………Car,…………..……. Money

Big savings account,………Love,………………..Marriage,………….Joy

Happiness,……………………Children,………..…Holiday…….………Job

Etc………………………………

All of us want to improve our lives, but in most part people don’t know how to achieve these goals and still be able to maintain a MORALLY correct life.

Q9/ I should have sex with a boy or girl to win him or her. (True or false)

Q10/ Happiness is achieved by having a big bank account. (True or false)

People sell themselves short and the standard of their life drops, subsequently they never have fulfillment in their dreams. You may have come to the same conclusion and asked the same questions or made the same statements as above.

Q11/ We should do anything to get want we want. (True or false)

How can we find contentment when we want so much? We need to go to the instruction manual the Bible and see what it states.

The Good foundation

This is what the Bible, Gods Word has to say about all the things we want and it gives instruction on how to receive the things that we need. It also teaches us how to live with the things we didn’t get too.

Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Q12/ Tomorrow will worry about itself. (True or false)

Q13/ A good place to start out in life, is to seek Gods Kingdom first. (True or false)

The answer is

Put God (Jesus) first and what He wants you to do more than anything. Then the other things which are important to you will be given to you as well. The statement in Matthew 6: 33 tells us not to worry about tomorrow, it will take care of itself because it hasn’t happened. All you need today is face the things that need to be done today in a Godly way and tomorrows problems will be reduced and it will be much easier to deal with them.

Focus on today for today is the day of Salvation.

A/ For the Christian

Are you looking at what you want or are you looking at a way to serve the Lord?

B/ For the Non-Christian

A good plan is to become a Christian. How do you do that?

Q14/ For the Christian we are to serve God first. (True or false)

Q15/ For the Non-Christian a good plan is to become a Christian. (True or false)

Practicality of Faith and that is, “do it” do what the word of God is saying and you will have a victory in you life. The three steps below if followed will remove, solve and dissolve problem past, present and future.

Q16/ if I don’t follow the three points of advice I’ll be OK. (True or false)

Point One: - Seek His Kingdom.

John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life!" Jesus answered. "Without me, no one can go to the Father.

Ask God to forgive you of your sins, this will bring you into His Kingdom

Point Two: - Seek His Righteousness.

2Corinthians 5:21 For He made the One who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Give yourself to Jesus Christ let Him come into your heart; this means you receive His Righteousness.

Point Three: - Don’t worry about tomorrow.  (It hasn’t happened yet.)

How to implement the three points above.

Once you bring your mind under Gods Word you will gradually, stop worrying about tomorrow. To bring your mind under Gods will, we do three things.

I.    Read the Bible.

II.    Talk to God (pray)

III.    Talk to other Christians and learn about the Christians life. (Go to Church)

Q17/ Once we bring ourselves under the word of God we will inherit what we need. (True or false)

Understanding that if we seek God first He will look after us, and then we can live in victory or we could say; “We have freedom no matter what is happening”.

Q18/ Freedom is a state of mind not a location or a position in life. (True or false)

Do you want freedom?

Deuteronomy 7:18 But stop worrying! Just remember what the LORD your God did to Egypt and its king.

1Samual 1:17 Eli replied, "You may go home now and stop worrying. I'm sure the God of Israel will answer your prayer."

Matthew 6:3 Only people who don't know God are always worrying about such things. Your Father in heaven knows that you need all of these.

Q19/ The outcome of seeking God is all these things will be given you. (True or false)

Finally let me say that “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail”.

Don’t sit on the fence make a decision, go one way or the other, If you go the wrong way you can always come back to Jesus and say sorry. So are you looking at yourself? Where is your focus?

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Q20/ My focus is on my job, wife and girlfriend. (True or false)
