Q1/ If we fail to plan we plan to fail. (True or false)

The team

A team is based on the need to surrender ones own wish for greatness for the greatness of the whole. We each have a part to play and each part is important.

Q2/ Do you want to see others develop and gain more confidence? (Yes or No)

Q3/ do you want to be the center of attention? (Yes or No)

Worship time

When in Evangelistic meeting during worship time everyone should be worshiping not sitting down praying. Sitting down with eyes closed praying gives the wrong impression to the newcomers and they become confused in what they should do. We should demonstrate the joy in us to worship the King. Praying should be done before the meeting.

Q4/ In an Evangelistic meeting we are to forget about the newcomers and enter into worship. (Yes or No)

Q5/ When in worship we should sit down with our eyes closed. (True or false)

Leader to keep an eye open at various times to see what is happening with the unconverted. Remember for the unconverted this is a new experience.

Q6/ A Christian meeting is strange to a newcomer. (True or false)

Team members should look to see if prayer is needed and it will most likely be needed, but this should not be done in a loud voice. You can stand and pray in your heart binding and loosening if needed.

Q7/ You can pray aloud in tongues during the worship time. (True or false)

Evangelistic meeting in a new area

When people who come in for the first time we need to be sensitive to where they are. Not too much praying and don’t pray or preach after every song. We are to just sing and dance with lively worship songs.

There are three levels of worship and the newcomer will most likely not be able to go past the first or second stage the first time they come to Evangelistic meeting. They are coming from the world into the outer court and this is a whole new experience for them.

If you invite someone to the meeting would you leave them outside the door while you worship? Your answer is, “no” you want them to come in. Therefore why do you want to go into the Holy of Holies and leave them outside? Check your aim on why you have invited someone to an Evangelistic meeting.

Q8/ We should preach after every song. (True or false)

Q9/ We should invite people to Church and leave them outside. (True or false)

Q10/ You invite people to church so you can have a glory time forgetting about the. (Yes or No)

Three levels of worship

i/ Outer court

If you leave the unconverted newcomer in the outer court they will feel isolated and may turn off. Look to see if people are worshiping if so you can move on.

ii/ Holy place

You can be the Holy place and open your eyes to see what is taking place.  Look to see if people are worshiping if so you can move on but you need to be confident to move into the Holy of Holies.

iii/ Holy of Holies

This level of worship is desirable but only if we have brought everyone through in the realm of worship and the leader has the responsibility to make this decision.

Q11/ We are to go straight into the Holy of holies and forget about others. (True or false)

Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Gifts can operate but aging we need to be vigilant to sense what is happening and this is the job of the leader.

Gifts of tongues can operate here but the leader may need to briefly explain to the newcomer what is happening.

A message in tongues can come but must be followed be interpretation.

Gift of prophecy can be in operation too.

Q12/ Gifts of the Holy Spirit should not be permitted. (True or false)

Q13/ the leader is responsible in keeping order. (True or false)

Teaching /Preaching

When one is teaching or preaching or witnessing the other is praying quietly to God interceding in the Spirit and not louder than the speaker.

Q14/ Pray in tongues loudly while the preacher is teaching is acceptable. (True or false)

Q15/ It’s better for the newcomers to listen to you praying in tongues than listen to the preaching. (True or false)

This does not mean kneeling down with eyes closed, but the exact opposite. Eyes open looking around to see what is taking place praying under your breath. Not audible.

Q16/ The preaching is boring so it’s OK to pray loudly. (True or false)

Preacher will make an alter call giving direction to the team members in what to do. Once the praying is taking place team member look around to see what needs to be done after the meeting has been closed in prayer.

No one is to move around until the meeting has been closed in prayer. Their still a lot of work for the team to do, if you have keep your eyes open you will see what needs to be done.

Leader to look and see what is happening and in consultation with the preacher make a closing prayer.

Q17/ We can pray for people while the leader is talking. (True or false)

Q18/ We wait until we have been released. (True or false)

Before the Meeting

This is the most important time for an Evangelistic team it is here you get you focus on what is to take place. Make a plan and keep to it because others are counting on you to be there. Remember God has brought about this meeting and anything that comes in to distract you is not coming from the right place no matter how wonderful you think it is.

Q19/ You have made a commitment to be in the team and you are coming to the meeting and you want to lead your taxi driver to the Lord, but you know you will be late. It’s OK to lead him to the Lord and let the team down. (True or false)

Why would God want you to make plan for you to be part of a team and then pull you away? Invite them to the meeting and if they have been brought by the Holy Spirit they will come and get saved.

The only excuse is a matter of life and death.

The most important thing is prayer before the meeting it will mean you don’t have to pray through the meeting.

Praying

a)    For the lost.

b)    Binding the evil forces.

c)    Asking for the leading of the Holy Spirit.

d)    Seeking words of knowledge.

e)    Seeking words of prophecy.

f)    Seeking a vision for the meeting.

g)    Making ourselves available to God, for Him to work through us.

h)    Praying that we will flow together throughout the service as a body.

i)    Stilling our minds before God.

j)    If needed have a time with God in personal and private confession, so that nothing hinders God from using us.

Be part of a team and come with an expectant heart.

Q20/ Praying is where the battle is won. (True or false)
