1. The difference between “born of the Spirit” and “Baptized with the Spirit”.

1.1 Born of the Spirit is our experience at salvation.

Col 1:13, John 3:5-6, John 3:3

1.2 Baptized with the Spirit

1.2.1 This happens at our salvation, it is our initial filling with the Spirit. It is also different from baptism with water.

Act 2:1-4

1.2.2 It is separate from salvation.

Act 8:14-17

1.2.3 It is for every believer.

John 7:38-39

1.2.4 It's manifestation is speaking in tongues.

Act 10:44-46, Act 19:6

2. It is given so that we can have power from God, be victorious and serve God.

Act 1:4-5, Act 1:8, Rom 15:18

3. We need to be filled with the Spirit all the time after the baptism with the Spirit.

Eph 5:18

It is not required for salvation.
