Lesson 51 Order in God’s Kingdom PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 14 March 2008

All things are done in order in the body of Christ, yet some are not capable of handling the freedom which comes in the body of Christ. It is not an organization which compels you to behave a certain way by a set of rules, but under the teaching of Jesus we will be conformed by the power of His Spirit and the word of God to behave with others to form healthy relationships.

Q1/ Do we operate in order in the Church? (True or false)

Q2/ Do we operate in order because of a set of rules? (True or false)

Q3/ Will the Holy Spirit change us? (True or false)

Fellowship/Relationship

The Bible is all about Fellowship and relationship from cover to cover and its purpose is to bring us back into right fellowship with our relationships.

Q4/ The Bible is all about Fellowship and relationship. (True or false)

Romans 1:25 to 32 outlines that people had chosen to go against the right order of thing which God had created for us. Ones who give themselves over to ungodly relationships and say I can chose what sex I want to be because I can be my own God are in self idolatry.

Q5/Out of off fellowship out off relationship you become dysfunctional. (True or false)

Romans 1:25 For they changed the truth of God into a lie, and they worshiped and served the created thing more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26 For this cause, God gave them up to dishonorable affections. For even their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature. 27  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another; males with males working out shamefulness, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was fitting for their error. 28  And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right, 29  being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; being full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit, evil habits, becoming whisperers, 30  backbiters, haters of God, insolent, proud, braggarts, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31  undiscerning, perfidious, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32  who, knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but have pleasure in those practicing them. (MKJV)

In the natural mind these points above vary in different levels and some may say it ok to be disrespectful to my parents, but look and see it is worthy of death.

Q6/ Unforgiving is worthy of death. (True or false)

Becoming a whisperers is worthy of death, a profound sentence upon man who talks about others behind their backs.

Q7/ Saying bad things about a person in a whisper is worthy of death. (True or false)

1Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. (MKJV)

Unhealthy attitudes develop confusion therefore God has placed an order in the family, the Nation, the local Church and the Universal Church.

At the simplest level Adam and God were to stay together and to walk and talk in the Garden on the same level, but once Adam sinned and didn’t repent a distance developed between Man and God. This has permeated throughout all cultures and is now called a Power Distance .

Q8/ There is a distance between unrepentant man and God. (True or false)

We have all come form different families which all have a different family culture although we may live in the same Country which has National Culture; we have our family culture which we inherit from our forefathers.

Q9/ Each Family are different. (True or false)

This family culture is seen in how we respond to any given situation, how we act under pressure. In some families the power distance from the father to the Children is small but in other it’s great and we are not to judge which one is better, but we do have a comparison which can be found in the word of God.

Q10/God wants a distance between us and Him. (True or false)

The Bible sets out Gods culture for mankind, “why?” because we say that God is the ultimate authority and if we were to follow Him our problems would be resolved.

Q11/ God is the ultimate authority in all matters. (True or false)

The big question, how do we bring about a change in our family that will bless us and our descendent's?

Deuteronomy 7:9 You know that the LORD your God is the only true God. So love him and obey his commands, and he will faithfully keep his agreement with you and your descendants for a thousand generations. (CEV)

Your action will speak louder than words; people hear what they see first.

Read the list of question and make a note of your answers, then later see if they fit with Gods order.

    Is it more important to lead a person to the lord or meet with your love ones?

    What order do you have in your life?

    Who is important in your life?

    What things do you hold as important?

    How will you treat your family and the members of the Church?

1Corinthians 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order. (MKJV)

The above scripture is dealing with the running of the Church but what is the family? It is the church in your home.

Fathers are called to be the head of the family so that the woman can be the woman God has made her to be. Children are called to be children who are raised in the way of the Lord.

Q12/ Children are called to lead the family. (True or false)

Q13/ Wives are called to lead the family. (True or false)

Q14/ Fathers are called to lead and protect the family. (True or false)

It sounds good but we all at times have difficulties in certain areas. Below I have listed the order to minimize to Power Distance problems in the Family.

    Personal relationship with God -Time in prayer.

    Relationship with your wife------Time in conversation.

    Relationship with your children- Time to spend playing.

    Relationship with work---------- Go to work to get money to give to your family and your offering to God.

    Relationship with your earthly family (brothers, sisters and parents).

•    Catch up with each other at special times.

    Relationship with your Christian family.

•    Learning, experiencing each other and corporate worship. Service in the house of God. Done in order.

    Relationship with the Harvest field.

•    Fulfilling the call of God to see the unsaved of the world come into the church.

    Relationship with your enemy. That you may pray for them.

Change the order and place anyone of the above in another place for a prolonged period of time and you will have trouble. It can be changed in some circumstances.

Q15/ Your enemies are more important than your daughter. (True or false)

Q16/ The church is the most important thing in your life. (True or false)

All of this is the art of communication make agreement to change the order so love ones don’t feel left out.

1Corinthians 12:31 But zealously strive after the better gifts. And yet I show to you a more excellent way. (MKJV)

Q17/ Communication with God is not important. (True or false)

Q18/ Communication with your wife is important. (True or false)

The more excellent way is the way of love.

1Corinthians 13:1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. (ASV)

Q19/ We should place Love in our communication as a high priority factor in decisions make when we want to change Gods order. (True or false)

Love is first in all our decision making procedures.

1Corinthians 14:1  Pursue the love, and seek earnestly the spiritual things, and rather that ye may prophecy, (YLT)

Make a decision to follow Gods order it will bring about Gods culture in your family, work, Church, your local area, your city and Nation.

Q20/ God has an order for our benefit. (True or false)

Your world will change.
