Dear Brothers and Sisters This month has been one of the most exciting times I have had in the Lord. It has been great to see 50 people saved just here in Changsha, but if you read the full report you will see it is much more than that. This country is great and it is burning with God’s Spirit. For the Devil to have victory, all he needs is for Christians to do nothing. Inaction is an action for the enemy. What has delighted me is the emergence of leaders who just take on responsibility. I am brought to tears when I read their reports. One of Harold’s students Linda who came to the Lord 3 or 4 years ago in our fellowship visited us the other day to inform us of how the Lord is using her. She is so amazing. She is managing an orphanage with 71 children. Read her report on our web page, I can’t say it the way she does.

We had our Easter party with 450 people coming along with 35 coming to the Lord. Our team of 20 workers did a great job and I think this was our best gathering yet. Please read Chris’ report to get a full picture.
Our Bible College has started in another city and another group started here. A brother who is studying Vision College with us in another province has sent a report of the work him and others are doing.
We have published a wide range of photos on our web page so please have a look at the kids and the fun. Please don’t stop reading here because I have only given an overview. Click on the link below to read more. |

Dear Brothers and Sisters We have just concluded the Chinese New Year celebrations, which run for two weeks with lots of fireworks almost everyday and any time of the day or night. This festival is the most popular festival in China. Did you know that the name of the festival when translated is “The Passover”? Other interesting facts are that the Chinese people put red paper on the door post and the lintels with words of blessing and this started when China had only One God over 3000 years ago. It is a time when all the people return home to share a meal and a time of reunion. It also had a practical purpose and that was when Nian, a large animal, would wake from his winter sleep and go looking for some fast Chinese food. The reunion meant safety in numbers for the family and the use of fireworks would frighten Nian away. I found this interesting that the people would pray that Nian who brought death would pass over them.

Dear Brothers and Sisters Here in China January is the last month of the school year with students and teachers had been busy doing their exams. The last week of this month has been a time for me to seek the Lord about our direction for the coming year as last year seemed to be very successful year. What would happen is this coming year to us is an unknown excitement but we look forward with great anticipation. We will change in some way as the Lord leads us. Our website has been a truly a powerful tool of reaching people. Last year we had over 11000 pages read throughout last year, but this January we had 2136 pages read. Our site is predominantly a teaching site with lessons in English and Chinese with of course our Newsletters and some other articles. |

Dear Brothers and Sisters May our great and loving Father bless you in this coming New Year.
It is truly an amazing thing to see God move in such a powerful way. I have placed a photo which exemplifies the whole thing about what Church should be about. Plus many more photo’s on our web site.
Chris Donald’s Report Hi All,
About 450 people attended the party. This is the biggest meeting the ministry has ever held here. About 60 young people responded to the altar call at the end of the party and prayed to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Hallelujah! There was rejoicing in the presence of the angels as 60 of God's children came to salvation. |

Dear Brothers and Sisters We are coming into the Christmas period and in China many people celebrate Christmas in a big way here, but without the presence of Jesus. We find this time a great opportunity to share the Gospel, last year we held a Christmas party with over 200 people attending and 25 people becoming Christians. A Section of last years party We believe with our brother Chris here helping this number could double, so we are presently looking for a venue which is large enough and safe enough. Please pray for us in this venture. We have been busy getting Bibles, making stamp packs, flyer's and producing children’s Christmas books for this outreach. That is what we are doing. Now we will look at what has happened this past month. |
