Dear Brothers and Sisters, Happy Chinese New Year After the short break here in China I will be going to Australia for two to three months starting in February. I still have dates free if you would like me to come to your church to share about our work. While in Australia, I will be conducting training classes on leadership at some of the churches. Also in some churches I will do some training on the subject of ‘evangelism’, using my book “Let’s Go Fishing!”. This book deals with how a person and a church can work together for a collective view of Evangelism in the local community. Last year I was on the road for five and half months, visiting New Zealand, Australia, India, Tanzanian, Kenya, Uganda and Ghana. Much of that time was preaching and teaching and in some cases it was to officiate at some graduations. We had 200 students graduate in 2011, but there will probably be many more in 2012. We have established web sites to aid in the distribution of training materials. We have free training notes for Discipleship and Leadership, which can be found at the links below. To get the ten free subjects for the Traillblazer, Tony Smits, Certificate of Biblical Studies go to this link - Traillblazer Ministries and then to Traillblazer, Tony Smits’ Bible College Course This is a new page Traillblazer, Tony Smits’ Bible College Course Two. Dear Brothers and Sisters As you may be aware, and as I have mentioned in the past, I am planning on going to Africa at the end of October and into November to conduct graduations for over 100 students who have completed the Tony Smits first year of Bible study. We will also conduct church leadership training, outreach with evangelism in three to six countries in Africa. I eagerly desire to meet with the students who have started their Biblical training and encourage them to continue with the Vision Bible College course in the coming years. I would like you to reflect on the short poem below as it refers to many little drops making a big difference. By: Julia A. Fletcher Carney Little drops of water, little grains of sand, Make the mighty ocean and the pleasant land. So the little moments, humble though they be, Make the mighty ages of Eternity. So the little errors lead the soul away
From the paths of virtue far in sin to stray. Little deeds of kindness, little words of love, Help to make earth happy, like the Heaven above.
We need your help no matter how small or large. I am still $2500.00 short of what I need to do all this preaching, teaching, evangelising and travelling over four weeks in Africa. From the end of October to the end of November, God willing, I will be in Mbeya City –Tanzania, Nairobi-Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Freetown-Sierra Leone and Ghana.
A group of our students from Mbeya City –Tanzania, this campus has 30 students who will graduate this coming November.

Dear Brothers and Sisters The first two weeks of this month were eventful as it is almost all the time in China. We saw five people come to the Lord and one filled with the Spirit.
Four of the people who came to Jesus in the coffee shop.
A lady who had been seeking the infilling of the Holy Spirit for a long time was filled with the Spirit. Her letter below talks of her excitement. A letter from Hanna Dear brother Ian thanks for last night. Last night I experienced the most amazing moment in my life and God does exist! Jesus is indeed the son of GOD and he was raised up from the dead and GOD, almighty God, he loves me! I have never felt his love so strongly and this real! May God bless your trip! Ps. Blake’s Christian bookshop has been growing in popularity and the English corner we have on Saturday nights are a great field for the harvest. In his last Sunday meeting they water baptised ten new converts. Last month we had sent all the people from our home church out with Ps. Wang to start in a new location, but it has become clear to us that we now have to start another fellowship on in our home. This will be our project for next month. Thank you to those who have given a blessed gift towards the crusade into India and now towards Africa. It is encouraging when people make regular gifts. If you can consider a regular gift of $10 a month, it will make a great impact on those in need. Thank you. Indian Reports

The full report of this suffering lion can be read at; http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/8272866/thousands-help-paralysed-lion My heart was broken when I read this story. Why? It was because I see an animal that, if it was born in the wild, it would have died or been killed a long time ago. But because its parents were captured it has been given a chance of life, however contrary to nature that life may be. Looking at the photos it is clear that this lady who took this lion into her home as a pet had a high standard of living that enabled her to keep such a large animal. It is also apparent that she has such a love for this big cat that she is prepared to go onto the Internet to seek support to keep her pet alive. So far, 35,000 people have made donations towards the continued treatment of this poor lion’s medical condition which cost about $12,500-a-month. Another point to note is that after an operation to repair the problem with its back legs, its front legs became paralysed as well. |
