Traillblazer Ministries - Missionary to China

My wife and I would like to thank you all who have prayed for us and especially my wife as she has had a tough year with the death of her brother earlier this year and this last month with the lose of her stepfather. Her stepfather had come to the Lord just over a year ago. He had been a schoolteacher who loved his job to the extent that he spent all his money in helping students get an education. In many cases he paid for their college fees and asked nothing ion return. My wife could testify to his generosity towards the next generation. She had come from difficult circumstances, but graduated from University and then she took up a job teaching. It was through him that we met.

From the bottom of our hearts we want to thank you for your prayers as the prances of our God was with us.

We certainly had the peace of the Lord with us, and I could see that Weina who was under great pressure to organize everything was peaceful and purposeful in her duties.

We all believe and worship our Lord Jesus because of whom He is and what did for us, in spite of what is taking place. The joy of the Lord is our strength.

Please continue to pray for my friend Dave as the battle for him has been a long one.

As you may be aware, I will be in Australia the last week in August and all of September to fulfil some speaking engagements. If you take the time to read the itinerary you will see I have something to do most days, but there are still some evenings available. If you are interested in hearing me share, please contact me. There is room for adjustment too.

I look forward to meeting up with my old friends and in some cases I will be meeting some new ones.

Hi all
I will be in Australia the last week in August and all of September to fulfil some speaking engagements. We will be starting in
Ballarat possible date 26th or 28th at Bill Rasmussen
Beaufort on the 29 August with Ps Abigail Font
Geelong for a group of meetings with Ps. Peter Lethbridge and many other Pastor and their churches
QLD for another for a group of meetings Ps. Henry de Vries of New Life Fellowship
NSW weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of October for another for a group of meetings and where will finish up before I return to China.
The return trip will be around the 4th or 5th October.
I look forward to seeing some of you again.

This month was a very interesting month here as Ps. Nigel, Ps. Christine McGimpsey and their daughter Gabriela were here from New Zealand. Christine and Gabriela came a week earlier than Nigel so we went for a trip into the countryside. The first weekend Ps. Christine preached at one of the local churches under the leadership of Daniel and the following weekend Ps. Nigel preached at two meetings. One of the meetings was in a Government Church at an International Meeting and the other with Blake. Both of them were well received and I found their massages refreshing too.

We continue to record our messages and we hope to soon be able to produce DVD’s, which we will give away so the teaching can travel where we cannot go. This has been a dream of ours for a long time and when my computer died and we got a new one we made sure we had a DVD burner installed. So the time is coming close to producing them.

Hi all

After such a busy time in Australia and New Zealand which ended with me getting bitten by a spider and a weeks stay in Kilmore hospital. My leg is almost back to its normal colour and size.

We have seen people here saved, baptised and we have been running a Vision Bible College course with Daniel and May’s church with about 15 attending. On Saturday nights we have been running our discipleship class. The exciting news about this work is we are recording the lessons and we hope to gear up our computer to start burning DVD’s soon. The plan is to give them away and hopefully we will reach more with this teaching.

Someone in China has copied all our disciple notes in Chinese and started their own web site. I am so please that someone felt it worthy to do this and I am excited that we will reach more people.

Flew to Australia on the 25th December and arrived on 26th meeting my nephew Joshua at the airport and then drove to Geelong to stay at Gordon my brother’s home.

My first speaking engagement was with my old Bible College friends Alex & Sharmaine F Meek. They invited me to their New years party to share about what is happening in China. The Church is called River of Life at Marcus Hill Memorial Hall, Conner of Banks Rd and Bellarine Hwy Marcus Hill.

Hi Ian,

I just want to let you know God is moving in our Church. Yesterday was our healing service. Betty gave her testimony of how God had healed her of lung tumours. Following this, I think thirteen people came forward for prayer. This time, Sarah suggested any who felt led by the Spirit to come, pray, and support those who came seeking a healing touch from God. I prayed for Ray, who is in his 90’s, and his wife who is 90 next month was standing behind him. She was not standing for long, because she was on the floor resting in the Spirit! Some people thought we should call an ambulance, but I just knew this was God, and nothing sinister. Later on, Nita hit the deck. All up, we had another two-hour service and God was at work. I purposefully shortened my sermon knowing that there were a couple of testimonies, and God had other ideas. I praise God for what He is doing, and since a couple of divisive people left, we have seven new people. God is so good!
